In order to develop talents and to excel in the young generation in the field of social & cultural activities across KARNATAKA, Visveswaraiah technological University scheduled its second youth festival during 25th to 27th Nov.2000 at DAYANANDA SAGAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, BANGALORE. Visveswaraiah technological university also plans to sponsor those excelled here to inter - universities, south - zone scheduled during 12th to 16th Dec 2000 at Hyderabad.

Dayananda Sagar college of Engineering is one of the premier institutes in the Garden city Bangalore, on Shavige malleshwara hills, with 25 acres campus, near kumaraswamy layout. Institution takes pride to acknowledge and also to facilitate and host to this massive, prestigious, colourful social and cultural Youth Festival of VTU, titled as YOUTH FESTIVAL 2000.

We welcome you to take active part and to excel in all the events of this social & cultural festival. All the students of VTU are here by informed to prepare for participation and to excel in this program.

THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

  • As per the directions from VTU head quarters at Belgaum, all the colleges have to actively participate in the Youth festival.
  • The colleges NEED NOT PAY ANY FEE.
  • A college can send a maximum of 30 members.
  • FREE Accomodation will be available for both boy & girl outstation students at
    1. CENTER FOR YOUTH & CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT,No.14, Okalipuram,(close to city Bus/railway station), Bangalore - 560 021.(Phones: 3389730, 3381963,3354866,3307541).
    2. T.G GUEST HOUSE, No.29/3, CKC garden,(Near Double Road), 2nd Main, Mission Road cross, BANGALORE - 560 027. (Phones: 2236311, 2236328).
    Our volunteers will receive you at the Bangalore Bus & railway station and guide you.The outstation participants should directly report to CYCD for accomodation.
  • FREE Food will be served for all the participants.
  • The information brochure containing the details of events, and the registration form, along with the posters for publicity have been despatched.
  • The last date for receipt of completed registration form HAS BEEN FURTHER EXTENDED TO SATURDAY, THE 18TH NOVEMBER 2000.
  • NO SPOT REGISTRATIONS, PLEASE.
  • The last date for receipt of advertisements for the Souvenir is on or before 20th November 2000
